Totally a little late on this whole “year in review” thing, but 2018 was home to way too many special moments for me not to share. It was a year full of immense change, growth, and things I never really thought to be possible.
It was the year I decided to take this business of mine full time. I dropped out of school, left the security of my part time job, and put nearly everything I had into following this little dream of mine. This was the year that I started traveling alone, flew to states I’ve never been to (looking at you Colorado!), and met some of the most important people in my life. I bought a car, did more camping than I ever have, and spent a whole lot of time alone in coffee shops editing away.
I was a part of so many unique wedding days, insanely fun engagement sessions, baby announcements, maternity shoots, and senior portrait sessions. I learned that while I really love shooting everything else, my main passion and love lies with weddings. I’ve become obsessed with documenting all the small moments and once in a lifetime captures that come along with weddings and I’m so grateful to call this my job.
So this little blog post is for all of the wonderful couples and people who made this dream and business possible. I appreciate them endlessly, and as cheesy as it is, would not be where I am without them. I am so dang excited for what this next year has in store and cannot wait to celebrate with all of my 2019 couples! Cheers to another insane year.
