I am honestly not sure where to start with this styled Joshua Tree elopement. It was my first time shooting in the park, and it made me fall in love with Joshua Tree in a way that would have me coming back four times in the following three months. While it is a highly visited national park, there are still pockets you can find without crowds of people. And in these little corners of the park is where you’ll find the serenity and sense of calm I’ve grown to love so much. The desert is truly a landscape unlike any other, and is the perfect place to consider if you’re looking to elope, have an intimate wedding, or just take some bridals somewhere that’s not your wedding venue. It’s a place filled with the bluest skies, natural earth tones, and whole lot of sunshine.
And while I try not to share a whole lot of styled content on here, the love you see between Alyssa and Steven is very much real. They are incredibly sweet, easy going, and so in love. I was so happy to run around Joshua Tree with them and hope that this little styled elopement can serve as inspiration for anyone looking to do the same. The boho Dreamers & Lovers gown Alyssa wears captures the desert light perfectly, and the greenery and macrame backdrop compliment the natural landscape so well. I’m also the slightest bit obssessed with Steven’s Maroon tux and the way it contrasts against all the earthy tones. And all those details aside, my favorite part about these images is the joy and love radiating from these two, and I’m so excited to share that with you today.
