I’m honestly not sure if I can ever put into words how much it meant to me to bring a couple to a place I’ve loved for so long, but I’m sure as hell going to try. Sequoia National Park is a place I’ve been camping for years. A place full of the prettiest meadows, the best (and coldest) swimming holes, and groves full of trees guaranteed to make you and your problems feel very, very small. It’s a place that never fails to make me feel unimaginable joy and possibility and a place that hope I get to continue to visit for years and years to come.
This trip was extra special to me because not only was I shooting a couple here for the first time, but Berklee and Johnny had never been. They followed me almost three hours away from their wedding site to come shoot here and I had such an amazing time showing them some of my favorite corners of the park. We ran around the park all evening and pulled over to catch the most amazing sunset on our way out. I am forever grateful for this experience and already cannot wait for my next trip back.
